Alexander is an intelligent teenager with a lot of passion and talent  for athletics such as football and skateboarding. He likes to be called Ace. He comes across as a good looking, somewhat shy teenager at first, but soon opens up once he feels comfortable. Alex is friendly, polite and almost always has a smile on his face. He is a very typical teenager with typical teen interests, who thrives in family environments that are well structured but with good a balance of personal freedom.  Ace likes to express himself through his clothing and hair style.  He is interested in pursuing college football and currently plays on his varsity football team as a sophomore.  When Ace sets his mind to something, he typically achieves it. Alex values honesty, respect and lightheartedness in his caregivers.

Handsome, sweet and affectionate, Anthony is an absolute delight! Although he is often quiet and shy, Anthony is amiable. He loves team sports. Anthony wants to be a fireman or a police officer when he grows up. His heroes are Batman, the Incredible Hulk and his sweet teachers. He is athletic and enjoys playing football and basketball. He enjoys playing games such as checkers and video games. His favorite color is blue and he enjoys watching the Cartoon Network. He has a bubbly personality and enjoys one on one attention. Anthony would do well in a nurturing, patient, loving environment with a family who has time to devote to him.

Antonio, 9 (almost 10) is a happy and well mannered child who is always smiling. He has a very inquisitive mind and always wants to find out “everything”. Antonio loves to build things and enjoys spending time drawing and coloring. He is a very good older brother to Ashanti, who adores him.Ashanti, 8 is an affectionate and extroverted child who loves to be hugged. She loves to do hair, ride her bike and enjoys singing and dancing. Ashanti proudly announces that she sings just like the singer with her same name, who she was named after. Ashanti likes to tease her older brother and compete at games with him.  These siblings are uniquely different but extremely bonded to one another. They would thrive in a home with experienced, energetic and affectionate parents who could nurture each child’s individual potential.  They also need a family that will allow them to stay in contact with their 3 other siblings.
 

Ashanti's little smile will captivate you. This little girl needs a special home that is wanting and able to work with a child with medical needs. She will need a strong advocate to make sure she gets her needs met. Ashanti is currently wheelchair bound but no doubt this does not dampen her spirits. She is a bright eyed child who will require life long care. Ashanti is fed via g-tube, on numerous medications, and receives occupational, speech and physical therapy.

Tommy is a quite, pleasant, and interesting child.  He enjoys reading and is a respectful child.  He enjoys playing video games and listening to music.  He likes science fiction and fantasy books, games, and television shows.  He needs a family that would provide a nurturing, loving and structured environment. Brittany is a friendly and cheerful little girl who's always ready to play with her friends. She is a little shy at first but quickly becomes very friendly. She likes to read, sing, and playing games. Brittany loves riding bikes, playing with dolls, and her favorite type of music is Pop. She would thrive in a nurturing and loving home that could provide her with security and stability.  This sibling group would require a family with strong parenting skills, patience and understanding of trauma.

 

Cody is a loving and affectionate child who tries very hard to succeed in everything he does. Shy at first, he warms up quickly and is very friendly and sweet. Cody loves cats and playing video games, and wants to be a veterinarian when he grows up. His favorite subject is science. He will need a family who will be able to assist him educationally as well as be an advocate for him in school. Cody would do best in a two-parent home able to provide lots of attention, love and structure. Cody's ideal family is affectionate and caring and, perhaps has a cat!

Jaznice and Dav'lyn are typical teenage girls. They absolutely love cheerleading and both participate in their school squads. The girls both do well in school and are in advanced and gifted classes. They enjoy listening, singing, and dancing to just about any kind of music. When not cheerleading, they love to hang out with their friends, go to the movies, or play their Nintendo ds games. These two great girls would do great with an active, fun loving family.

Deantae is an athletic young man, who is interested in football, wrestling, track, and a variety of other sports. Deantae currently is joining the track and field team. He deserves an energetic family who can be involved with all of his athletic interests. Deantae will shine in a family setting who will model strong, positive values in his life.

Edward is an 8 year old child who has brown hair and blue eyes. Edward is very energetic, highly intelligent, and has unique sense of style. Edward does well educationally and he loves to read. Edward also loves to swim and most water related activities. Edward lacks peer socialization skills and has difficulty establishing friendships. On the other hand he has a wonderful support system of professionals who are vested in ensuring his forever well-being. Edward would do best in a one or two parent household, as an only child, in the Tampa Bay or surrounding areas.

Meet Emmanuel, an energetic and curious young man.  Emmanuel is a budding outdoorsman.  He loves to explore nature, but beware all squirrels and lizards!  Emmanuel loves to chase these animals and discover their habitat.  Emmanuel loves all sports, but none as much as basketball and football.  You can always find Emmanuel on the ball court, shooting hoops with his friends.  Friendly and outgoing, he is well liked by his peers.  Emmanuel thrives with individual attention.  He would flourish with a single male or two-parent household who would give Emmanuel all the love and consideration that he deserves.  Emmanuel needs a strong role model that would help him to succeed in all his endeavors. Emmanuel would do well being the only child in the home or the younger siblings with mature older children.

Melissa is a funloving, active child. Melissa loves to go shopping and go out to eat. Melissa likes to indulge in "girl's days out" activities, such as getting her nails done. Melissa enjoys having one on one attention and would benefit from a two parent home with no other children in the home aside from her younger brother. Melissa and her younger brother get along, but do engage in sibling rivalry at times too. Melissa would describe herself as a "diva". Melissa can be materialistic and loves to own the best of the best. Melissa is very outgoing.Fyheem is a lovable, tenderhearted, sociable child. Fyheem likes school and does well academically. Fyheem loves to sing and dance. Fyheem looks up to his older sister and you can usually find him close behind his sister in whatever she is involved with. Fyheem would benefit from a one or two parent home, as long as the parent can be firm and patient. The child at times has difficulty managing and expressing his feelings. The child likes to keep busy and active. Fyheem is easily entertained, and can play solo as well. Fyheem likes to play basketball.

Jackie is a very jovial child and loves to tell funny stories and jokes. He is very outgoing and loves to be the center of attention. He is having some issues at school and is struggling with his behavior this school year as he has just begun middle school. Jackie is an intelligent young man but requires structure and support to be successful in his school work and behavior.

One look at Jeremiah and you are completely hooked. His big dark brown eyes, engaging smile, and soft round face will melt your heart. He has a beautifully tanned olive complexion and dark hair. Jeremiah is on grade level for math and science but needs extra work in the areas of reading and writing. Jeremiah is a member of a local little league baseball team and he enjoys playing video games. His manners are most impressive in his ability to properly use please, thank you, yes ma'am, or no sir. Jeremiah requires a family that believes in structure and will be willing to spend a lot of one-on-one time with him as he does require a lot of personal attention. He is full of life and a family that can keep up with him is vital as well. Stability and consistency is the key for Jeremiah to function adequately. Jeremiah has no medical health concerns.
A bright smile and a charming personality best describes your first impression of Jonah.  His use of proper diction and vast vocabulary is impressive as well. Jonah does well in school and he received a B in areas of his course work.  Jonah is an All-Star baseball player with his local little league team.  He enjoys playing with video games and reading books.  He has chronic asthma and is on medication to control this.  Jonah is a loving individual and would best fit into a family that enjoys outdoor activities and family time together.   Jacob is an attractive young man with dark hair and a smooth olive tone completion. He wears eye glasses 24/7, except for bedtime as he has poor vision.  He is extremely polite and respectable with a soft and caring side to him.  He recently completed the 6th grade where he attended all regular classes.  Jacob is a very active child and enjoys karate and baseball.  He has taken the responsibility of the big brother role but does have a tendency to become rather jealous of them for time to time.  He enjoys personal attention and does very well with one-to-one contact.  Jacob requires a family with a lot of patience and experience with dealing with children who have experience a great deal of trauma and lost in their lives.  The boys are extremely bonded to one another and would be best matched with a family willing to accept all three children.  This sibling group needs a strong two-parent family with a lot of patience and preferably, no other children in the home.  Each of the boys requires their own bedroom and space.  The boys have expressed that they prefer not to leave the state of Florida and may require a long transition.  The children may also require lifelong supportive counseling.

Jillian is very inquisitive and ambitious. She enjoys doing puzzles and figuring out problems.  Jillians sincerity and genuine good heart are remarkable characteristics. Her favorite place is the beach where she enjoys the waves, collecting shells and playing in the sand.  Jillian enjoys being around the water and is looking forward to being a champion swimmer one day.  She also loves going for walks and bike rides. Jillian needs a family who can nurture her and help her achieve her full potential. Jillian is a medically complex child.  Jillian requires assistance with self-care needs and has developmental delays.  She has delayed communication skills.  This child is looking for a loving and patient family who can provide for the ongoing care needs of the child.  Jillian requires a structured home environment with consistent supervision.   Jillian needs a loving family that will be committed to her and assist her to develop to her full potential.   Photography by: Robert Allen Sargent

Born in 1996, Joseph's open and friendly personality draws people to him, and his optimism helps to lift others' spirits. He loves to entertain and make people laugh, and he enjoys chatting with just about anyone. When he grows up, he'd like to either be in the F.B.I, or play in the Major Leagues. Joseph is a friendly and caring child with a uniquely enthusiastic personality. He is typically happy and smiling, and he enjoys his interactions with others. Joseph has a variety of interests, including skating, reading, playing games such as tag, and playing sports such as football, baseball, and basketball. The child also enjoys watching movies, watching television, playing video games, and listening to music. Joseph is enrolled in a ESE program and is noted to enjoy school. At times Joseph has difficulty expressing his feelings. Joseph will thrive in a family that enjoys leisure and recreational activities and can provide the patience and understanding that the child needs.

Jicarri is a friendly, active and handsome boy.  His talent is that he is an entertainer and enjoys performing for others by singing to pop songs.  He loves to have friends and attend school.  He loves to play outdoors and spending time with his best friend, his older sister Josy.  Josy and Jicarri have a close bond to one another.  Josy is a sweet, energetic and lovely girl.  She loves school and playing with her toys.  These wonderful siblings are looking for a forever family that will give them stability and love.  Both children will thrive with a two parent family that will provide them structure, consistency and lots of love.

Nicholas, age 13 wants to be a football player when he grows up. He likes Manatees and going to amusement parks. Nicholas has two siblings that he enjoys spending time with and the goal is for them to live together.  Jacob, age 9 is an energetic child who loves to be involved in activites and would like to have a family who will be active with him.  Jacob likes to play video games, skateboard and loves animals.  Kayla, age 8 is a very active little girl who likes to talk and wear girlie outfits.  All three children have special needs and will need continued counseling to obtain their full potential in life. These siblings do have normal sibling rivalry, but also look out for one another.

Regina is a smart young lady with a lot of potential. Regina loves school and likes to be involved in activities. She likes to have friends and go out with her friends. Regina is passionate about what she believes to be right and she can be emotional at times. REgina would do well with a an encouraging family that is active and positive. Keisha is a passionate young lady who is motivated to succeed. She is looking forward to obtaining a job and gaining some more responsibility and independence. She enjoys spending time with her friends and talking/texting on the phone. Keisha is very direct and straightforward with those around her. She would do well with a patient family who is active and able to communicate in a direct manner.
 

Dequan is very active and competitive. He loves to play sports, particularly basketball. A family for Dequan would need to be active and like to participate in activities. Dequan also loves to play video games and practical jokes. Dequan has a very close bond with his little sister and is open to a single parent or two parent family as long as his sister is with him. Kiyana is a active healthy child. Kiyana loves to laugh and play but can be quiet and reserved when you first meet her. A family for Kiyana would need to be patient and active. Kiyana loves to read and has a close bond with her big brother. Kiyana is open to a single parent or two parent family as long as her big brother is with her.

La'trell is an adorable and amorous little boy. His cheerful attitude makes him a joy to be around. La'trell adores playing in water and loves exploring outside, as well as listening to orchestral music. La'trell tends to be a quiet observer at times, but once comfortable, can also be very playful and has a beautiful smile. He is in school and does well in a school setting and is able to interact with other children with prompting.  La'trell is a 24 hour total care child, and may require a night nurse.  La'Trell needs a kind and loving one or two parent family that is able and willing to nurture him and care for his life long special needs.

Charlie is an especially personable and engaging kid. He flourishes in social situations, and truly enjoys making new friends. People are naturally drawn to his great sense of humor, and his energetic personality makes him popular with adults and peers alike. An intelligent young man, Charlie's favorite subjects in school are math and writing. His ultimate goal is to one day become President of the United States.  Charles enjoys playing outside and especially enjoys playing baseball and basketball, and going swimming.  He also enjoys watching movies and would love a family who enjoys the outdoors and would take him to the movies.  Malachi is a protective older brother. Malachi is an athletic teenager, and like his younger brother he enjoys playing basketball and skateboarding. He's has a great mind for math. When Malachi grows up he'd like to join the Marines. Malachi’s resilience in life is admirable, and he has the makings of a great young man.  He is an insightful young man and easy to talk to once he gets to know you.  Both boys would flourish in a home with warm and nurturing experienced parents, where they could receive the love and encouragement they need to do the best they can. They have had many disappointments and will need an unconditionally committed family who will help them heal from their past losses. They are great children to be around.  Both children are eager for a forever family and have expressed a desire to be adopted.

 

Marta is an adorable, 3 year old girl, with a sweet personality, who is eagerly waiting for a perfect family. She would love a family who can committ to a life time full of care. She enoys listening to music through headphones and being wrapped tightly in a blanket to stay toasty warm. Once you meet her, you will understand why she is loved by everyone around her.

Maysoon- likes to socialize with her peers and she is a leader amongst other children her age, but around older children can be led.  Maysoon likes to maintain contact with her two younger siblings.  She does not trust adults automatically, but with time and a sincere approach at becoming her friend Maysoon can emotionally attach to others.  Ali- likes to socialize with peers, likes sports, is a good student when he wants to be.  Ali enjoys the company of his siblings.  Ali also does not trust adults automatically, but has shown the ability to emotionally form attachments with those who show a sincere commitment at knowing him and spending time with him. Yasmine- as the youngest sibling, Yasmine is trusting more of others, she looks up to her two older siblings, and she enjoys socializing with peers.  Yasmine has demonstrated that she is a good student when she wants to be and that she can emotionally bond with those who care most about her.  These 3 children need a home together with parents who will have the patience to help the children recover from the trauma of their past.

Mollee is a very outgoing child, despite some of her challenges. She likes to listen to music and play football and basketball. She has a huge heart and can described by others as caring and kind. Mollee wants more than anything to be loved and be apart of a family. She has high hopes of becoming a lawyer. Mollee would do best in a two parent home that is patient and committed to Mollee's lifelong needs.

Nicholas is a happy child who smiles and interacts appropriately with others, babbles, is very active, and can follow simple commands.  Opening and closing doors are favorite pastimes.  He is in a specialized school setting and receives speech therapy.  It is felt he is making progress socially.  He gives eye contact and responds to his name.  Nicholas is able to communicate through sign language.  He is a very affectionate child and enjoys laughing.  Nicholas enjoys playing with cars and trucks and likes to roll them along the floor.  He is a curious and inquisitive child with a good imagination.  This endearing child will need ongoing assistance.  Despite the medical challenges he was born with Nicholas has overcome many of these challenges and has made many strides in his development.

Rashad loves to sing!  He is very into the performing arts and wants to be a singer when he grows up.  He is reserved with strangers but once you get to know him, he will blow you away with his amazing voice.  Rashad would like to be in a home with either a parent or sibling of his own race.  He also stated that he would prefer to have no siblings or siblings that are school aged or older.  He really enjoys going to school, his favorite subject after music is math.  Rashad is behind in school but he has been to 12 schools in less than 8 years.  He has been making very good choices in his behavior lately and has been working on controling his emotions.  He will need a family to be willing to work with him on building his trust and an advocate for his educational needs.

A terrific storyteller and a talented magician, Ronderik is a natural entertainer.  His lighthearted, upbeat personality and natural humor draw people to him.  Ronderik says his favorite place is Nickelodeon Hotel Suites and one of his favorite types of music is jazz.  Ronderik would like his future family to know that hes an artist.  Football and baseball are two sports Ronderik enjoys playing. Sherman is a kind and personable young man with a great sense of humor. His laid back attitude makes him easy to get along with and easy to love for friends and adults alike. He loves to have fun and listen to music, and enjoys most sports. In school this year, Sherman is working hard in math, and when he grows up he would like to be a policeman. Sherman would thrive best in a supportive and active two-parent home that could help him to realize his full potential.

Stacee is 15 year old girl who has an upbeat, energectic, and pleasant personality. She excels in school and has been on the honor the last three quarters. She loves to read and talk on the phone with her friends in her free time. She is ready to find her forever family.

Stephano is a cooperative and helpful child who gets along well with others.  Stephano's interests include writing poems, reading, playing board games, swimming, and playing video games.  Stephano is an active child and he has unique athletic ability.  The child loves to run, and he enjoys playing sports such as field hockey and football.  The child also enjoys activities such as going to football games, going out to eat, and going to the movies, and going to amusement parks.  Willow is a precocoious child with a uniquely positive attitude.  The child enjoys being a part of a family, and she is affectionate and helpful.  Willow has a variety of interests, such as listening to music and dancing.  The child is an avid reader, and her reading skills are above her grade level.  Willow enjoys family activities such as playing board games, shopping for clothes, and going out to eat.  Both children do very well in school - Stephano is in gifted classes for Math.  The children have had many disappointments from the adults in their past, so a family that can provide them with unconditional love and commitment will be best suited for them.
  

Kevin is a helpful, sociable and caring child, who likes going to school and is proud of having made patrol. His favorite subjects are Science and Math, and he likes to play sports too. Kevin loves to go to Busch Gardens and other theme parks, and enjoys playing videogames and chess. He also likes going to church. Kevin is good natured and outgoing, and likes to be treated like a smart and mature child. He thinks the ideal family needs to be nice and loving. Kevin would make a good son because he values things, is kind and likes to please others. Steven is an independent pre-teen who loves playing basketball and is good at Science. Steven enjoys helping with some things around the house such as feeding the animals and fixing his food. Steven considers himself a smart and athletic kid who likes to listen to rap and eat peanut butter sandwiches. He loves going to summer camp as well as participating in other types of group activities with children. However, Steven also enjoys spending some time alone every day and is not a very talkative child with adults, since it takes him a lot of time to gain trust in them.  Both brothers are bonded and enjoy spending time together very much. They miss each other when they are apart. The brothers have very different personalities and needs, and would thrive in a home that was able to understand their differences and love them unconditionally. The ideal family for Steven and Kevin would be one that is very patient and does not take difficult behaviors personally, knowing that they are a result of the children having lacked a stable, loving bond to adult figures in the past.
 

Janiya and Tommie will light up your life!  These two children are full of energy, and love interaction with others.  They want to have a family to love them and be active with.  Janiya and Tommie are very much attached to each other and will be adopted together.  Their family is going to need to be a advocate for the children in school, as this is their greatest area of need.  They will do much better in a small classroom or homeschool environment.  They are helpful at home and enjoy taking part in family activities and even cleaning up the house.  They like to run around and go to the local park but will enjoy almost any activity with their family.  Janiya and Tommie would do best in a experienced, two parent family that will give them the structure and stability they so very much need.  These two adorable children have the greatest smiles and want a forever family.

Vianney is a sweet six year old girl with a smile that will melt your heart. She loves staying busy with toys and interacting with others. She is also learning how to dance. Vianney has a lot of love to offer a family and she deserves a family that can offer her a lifetime committment of love and attention. Vianney is a fast learner but requires a family that can devote a lot of time and energy to encourage her to try new things.  Vianney also has medical needs that will require lifelong care.
