Antonio, 9 (almost 10) is a happy and well mannered child who is always smiling. He has a very inquisitive mind and always wants to find out “everything”. Antonio loves to build things and enjoys spending time drawing and coloring. He is a very good older brother to Ashanti, who adores him.Ashanti, 8 is an affectionate and extroverted child who loves to be hugged. She loves to do hair, ride her bike and enjoys singing and dancing. Ashanti proudly announces that she sings just like the singer with her same name, who she was named after. Ashanti likes to tease her older brother and compete at games with him.  These siblings are uniquely different but extremely bonded to one another. They would thrive in a home with experienced, energetic and affectionate parents who could nurture each child’s individual potential.  They also need a family that will allow them to stay in contact with their 3 other siblings.
 

Jaznice and Dav'lyn are typical teenage girls. They absolutely love cheerleading and both participate in their school squads. The girls both do well in school and are in advanced and gifted classes. They enjoy listening, singing, and dancing to just about any kind of music. When not cheerleading, they love to hang out with their friends, go to the movies, or play their Nintendo ds games. These two great girls would do great with an active, fun loving family.

Pedro is described as a athletic and funny child.  He is outgoing, helpful, and friendly.  Pedro laughs easily and enjoys telling jokes.  Pedro's favorite animal is a dog.  The activities that he enjoys are playing video games and hanging out with his friends.  His favorite music is rap.  Pedro would like to be a football player when he grows up and his favorite football team is the Chicago Bears.  His role model is the football player, Devin Hester.  Pedro and his brother Edwin are looking for their forever family who can keep these siblings together. Edwin is a sweet and handsome boy.  He likes to help others.  He is described as easy going and lovable.  Edwin's favorite sport is football and he would like to be a football player when he is an adult.  The activities that he enjoys doing are playing football, riding his bicycle, and playing with his brothers.  His favorite subject in school is math.  Edwin would like to find his forever family for he and his brother Pedro.

One look at Jeremiah and you are completely hooked. His big dark brown eyes, engaging smile, and soft round face will melt your heart. He has a beautifully tanned olive complexion and dark hair. Jeremiah is on grade level for math and science but needs extra work in the areas of reading and writing. Jeremiah is a member of a local little league baseball team and he enjoys playing video games. His manners are most impressive in his ability to properly use please, thank you, yes ma'am, or no sir. Jeremiah requires a family that believes in structure and will be willing to spend a lot of one-on-one time with him as he does require a lot of personal attention. He is full of life and a family that can keep up with him is vital as well. Stability and consistency is the key for Jeremiah to function adequately. Jeremiah has no medical health concerns.
A bright smile and a charming personality best describes your first impression of Jonah.  His use of proper diction and vast vocabulary is impressive as well. Jonah does well in school and he received a B in areas of his course work.  Jonah is an All-Star baseball player with his local little league team.  He enjoys playing with video games and reading books.  He has chronic asthma and is on medication to control this.  Jonah is a loving individual and would best fit into a family that enjoys outdoor activities and family time together.   Jacob is an attractive young man with dark hair and a smooth olive tone completion. He wears eye glasses 24/7, except for bedtime as he has poor vision.  He is extremely polite and respectable with a soft and caring side to him.  He recently completed the 6th grade where he attended all regular classes.  Jacob is a very active child and enjoys karate and baseball.  He has taken the responsibility of the big brother role but does have a tendency to become rather jealous of them for time to time.  He enjoys personal attention and does very well with one-to-one contact.  Jacob requires a family with a lot of patience and experience with dealing with children who have experience a great deal of trauma and lost in their lives.  The boys are extremely bonded to one another and would be best matched with a family willing to accept all three children.  This sibling group needs a strong two-parent family with a lot of patience and preferably, no other children in the home.  Each of the boys requires their own bedroom and space.  The boys have expressed that they prefer not to leave the state of Florida and may require a long transition.  The children may also require lifelong supportive counseling.

Nicholas, age 13 wants to be a football player when he grows up. He likes Manatees and going to amusement parks. Nicholas has two siblings that he enjoys spending time with and the goal is for them to live together.  Jacob, age 9 is an energetic child who loves to be involved in activites and would like to have a family who will be active with him.  Jacob likes to play video games, skateboard and loves animals.  Kayla, age 8 is a very active little girl who likes to talk and wear girlie outfits.  All three children have special needs and will need continued counseling to obtain their full potential in life. These siblings do have normal sibling rivalry, but also look out for one another.

Regina is a smart young lady with a lot of potential. Regina loves school and likes to be involved in activities. She likes to have friends and go out with her friends. Regina is passionate about what she believes to be right and she can be emotional at times. REgina would do well with a an encouraging family that is active and positive. Keisha is a passionate young lady who is motivated to succeed. She is looking forward to obtaining a job and gaining some more responsibility and independence. She enjoys spending time with her friends and talking/texting on the phone. Keisha is very direct and straightforward with those around her. She would do well with a patient family who is active and able to communicate in a direct manner.
 

Charlie is an especially personable and engaging kid. He flourishes in social situations, and truly enjoys making new friends. People are naturally drawn to his great sense of humor, and his energetic personality makes him popular with adults and peers alike. An intelligent young man, Charlie's favorite subjects in school are math and writing. His ultimate goal is to one day become President of the United States.  Charles enjoys playing outside and especially enjoys playing baseball and basketball, and going swimming.  He also enjoys watching movies and would love a family who enjoys the outdoors and would take him to the movies.  Malachi is a protective older brother. Malachi is an athletic teenager, and like his younger brother he enjoys playing basketball and skateboarding. He's has a great mind for math. When Malachi grows up he'd like to join the Marines. Malachi’s resilience in life is admirable, and he has the makings of a great young man.  He is an insightful young man and easy to talk to once he gets to know you.  Both boys would flourish in a home with warm and nurturing experienced parents, where they could receive the love and encouragement they need to do the best they can. They have had many disappointments and will need an unconditionally committed family who will help them heal from their past losses. They are great children to be around.  Both children are eager for a forever family and have expressed a desire to be adopted.

 

Maysoon- likes to socialize with her peers and she is a leader amongst other children her age, but around older children can be led.  Maysoon likes to maintain contact with her two younger siblings.  She does not trust adults automatically, but with time and a sincere approach at becoming her friend Maysoon can emotionally attach to others.  Ali- likes to socialize with peers, likes sports, is a good student when he wants to be.  Ali enjoys the company of his siblings.  Ali also does not trust adults automatically, but has shown the ability to emotionally form attachments with those who show a sincere commitment at knowing him and spending time with him. Yasmine- as the youngest sibling, Yasmine is trusting more of others, she looks up to her two older siblings, and she enjoys socializing with peers.  Yasmine has demonstrated that she is a good student when she wants to be and that she can emotionally bond with those who care most about her.  These 3 children need a home together with parents who will have the patience to help the children recover from the trauma of their past.

Staja and Uriah are very close. Staja is a happy teen who is quite social. She loves hanging out with her friends, swimming, and listening to music. She aspires to become a model or veterinarian.  Uriah tends to keep to herself more but loves to get attention from the adults involved in her life.   Uriah has a great talent for drawing and loves being on her computer.  They need a family who will love them but also allow them their own space. The girls will do well in a family that has two parents.  The girls have expressed that they would like to be in a family that is active, enjoys going places and having fun.  The girls have gone through a lot together, which makes their bond very close, therefore, the family that would like to become a permanent part of their lives, needs to respect and nurture their connection.

Kevin is a helpful, sociable and caring child, who likes going to school and is proud of having made patrol. His favorite subjects are Science and Math, and he likes to play sports too. Kevin loves to go to Busch Gardens and other theme parks, and enjoys playing videogames and chess. He also likes going to church. Kevin is good natured and outgoing, and likes to be treated like a smart and mature child. He thinks the ideal family needs to be nice and loving. Kevin would make a good son because he values things, is kind and likes to please others. Steven is an independent pre-teen who loves playing basketball and is good at Science. Steven enjoys helping with some things around the house such as feeding the animals and fixing his food. Steven considers himself a smart and athletic kid who likes to listen to rap and eat peanut butter sandwiches. He loves going to summer camp as well as participating in other types of group activities with children. However, Steven also enjoys spending some time alone every day and is not a very talkative child with adults, since it takes him a lot of time to gain trust in them.  Both brothers are bonded and enjoy spending time together very much. They miss each other when they are apart. The brothers have very different personalities and needs, and would thrive in a home that was able to understand their differences and love them unconditionally. The ideal family for Steven and Kevin would be one that is very patient and does not take difficult behaviors personally, knowing that they are a result of the children having lacked a stable, loving bond to adult figures in the past.
 

Jamia is a playful and active child.  She loves one on one attention and enjoys helping others.  She enjoys school and   her favorite animal is a dog because "they like people."  Jamia enjoys playing board games such as Candyland.  She would like to be a teacher when she is an adult.  Her favorite activities are playing outside and coloring pictures.  She is eager to be apart of a family with her brothers, Tylee and Travis. Travis is a friendly and outgoing child.  He is devoted to his siblings and wants them all to live together again.  He has a beautiful smile and is very engaging.  When he's not watching the Tampa Bay Bucs play, he lives to watch movies or do just about anything outside.  Travis's favorite subject in school is reading and would love to read you a story. TYLEE IS A FRIENDLY BOY WITH A BRIGHT SMILE.  HE LOVES TO LAUGH AND GIGGLES ALOT.  HE LOOKS UP TO HIS BROTHER, TRAVIS AND ENJOYS PLAYING WITH OTHER CHILDREN.  TYLEE ENJOYS HELPING OTHERS AND WOULD LIKE TO BE A TEACHER WHEN HE GROWS UP.  HE IS AN ACTIVE CHILD AND ENJOYS PLAYING FOOTBALL AND VIDEO GAMES.  HE WOULD LIKE A LOVING FAMILY TO PROVIDE HE AND HIS SIBLINGS, JAMIA AND TRAVIS, A PERMANENT HOME.  TYLEE STATES HE LOOKS FORWARD TO EATING DESSERTS WITH HIS FOREVER FAMILY.  This sibling group needs a strong, experienced family that can help them heal from past trauma and reach their full potential.  An ideal family would be a local one who can help the children stay in contact with their older sister and other connections.
